Goodwill of Greater Washington is now hiring for positions at our new Rockville, Maryland retail store and donation center located at 725 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland. Hiring for Team Leads!

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent PLUS six (6) months previous management experience in retail or similar service-oriented business or environment (e.g. military experience).

Retail Team Lead, $16 per Hour

Assists management in the operation of the Goodwill retail store; this includes customer service, record keeping, cash management, facility operation, communications, merchandising, and marketing inventory control. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and exceptions.

Production Team Lead, $16 per Hour

Assists the Production Assistant Manager to supervise processors and donation attendants and coordinate production activities to include, but not limited to, after market production, handing standards, receiving of donations, pricing standards, warehouse maintenance and Attended Donation Center site coverage. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and exceptions.

Assistant Manager - Production, $16 per Hour

As a Goodwill Manager, you are an organizational leader responsible for creating a high performing work environment that results in positive associate experiences, excellent customer service and an overall successful operation that supports the mission. Managers model passion for work, strong positive leadership skills and are effective coaches to their direct reports. Managers are expected to understand store and divisional objectives and to meet established goals including revenue, profit and expense control. This position has the authority to recommend and make decisions on hiring, coaching and discipline. Managers will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values.

Sales Associate North Rockville

Provides excellent customer service as a first point of contact to retail customers and maintains the sales floor to ensure an exciting shopping experience. Able to effectively and accurately complete all POS transactions. Partners with team members in a fast-paced environment to expedite merchandise for sale and display on the sales floor. Provides operational sales and support to management team.

Merchandise Processor North Rockville

Partner with production and retail team members in a high energy fast-paced environment to perform a variety of operational functions that include sorting, processing and preparing donated merchandise to display for sale and distribution in a Goodwill retail store.

A Day in the LIfe of a Merchandise Processor

Donation Attendant North Rockville

Provides excellent customer service to Goodwill of Greater Washington donors and customers inside and outside of retail locations; greet donors, receives donations, and supply donors with receipts. Prepares donations for the production processing area and works as a transitional team member expediting merchandise in a fast paced environment.
