As we metaphorically leap into the New Year, inspired by the positive impact we can make on our community, Goodwill of Greater Washington (Goodwill) has big plans to transform even more lives through the power of education and employment in 2024.

Goodwill will continue building on the foundation of our core values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence, while embracing a culture of inclusion, opportunity, and growth. As a nonprofit social enterprise, we intend to focus on three pillars to guide us as we advance our mission. We call it GPS:

1. GROW OUR FOOTPRINT IN THE COMMUNITY by expanding our retail and donation locations, sustainability initiatives, and Excel Centers to increase mission impact.

2: PRIORITIZE AND INVEST IN OUR PEOPLE by building a learning culture that attracts, develops, supports, and engages diverse talent.

3: STRENGTHEN OUR INFRASTRUCTURE by investing in systems and process improvements to strengthen our organization's effectiveness and efficiency.

Through a continued focus on our people, our planet, and the prosperity of our community, we believe that we can build a socially sustainable model for both regional growth and individual success.
