Goodwill of Greater Washington retail stores and donation centers, which were forced to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic, are now moving into PHASE III of the organization’s reopening plan. 

The following Goodwill locations will reopen on Monday, June 22nd operating on a limited schedule:

2495 Crain Highway
Waldorf, MD

The stores are open daily between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The Donation centers will operate daily between NOON and 3:00 PM beginning Wednesday, July 8th.

All of Goodwill of Greater Washington’s other locations, have already reopened.

Stores will also be implementing strict health and safety measures including, but not limited to: 

  • A deep cleaning in each store
  • A sharp reduction in the number of shoppers allowed in each store 
  • Creating one-way aisles
  • Establishing six feet social distancing markers inside and outside the store
  • Requiring masks and gloves be worn by all associates
  • Requiring associates have their temperatures taken before entering the store 
  • Requiring that masks be worn by all shoppers age 10 and up
  • Closing dressing rooms and restrooms
  • Installing sneeze guards at all cash registers
  • Touch free donation protocols

As Goodwill rolls out its new safety protocols, it will slowly reopen its remaining stores. Donation centers will remain closed at any store that has not yet reopened.
