Reston, VA – Davelle Clothiers, a high quality, fine men’s custom clothing store in Reston, VA, is partnering once again with Goodwill® of Greater Washington (Goodwill) on its 26th Annual Trade-In/Trade-Up Sale.
Throughout the month of October when anyone trades in their gently used clothing at Davelle, the donated clothing and 5% of the proceeds from the sale go to benefit Goodwill.
Goodwill will sell the donated clothing to help fund its job training and employment programs for people with disadvantages and disabilities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Each donor also receives an item-for-item discount on new designer clothing from Davelle.
“As a small business owner, it gives me great pride to continue supporting Goodwill of Greater Washington’s mission,” said David Eisele, President/CEO of Davelle Clothiers. “The Trade In event is the perfect opportunity to engage our customers while providing job training to local residents, which is particularly critical during the pandemic when the number of unemployed is on the rise.”
“We are very excited to be aligning the Goodwill brand with Davelle Clothiers for the eleventh straight year,” says Brendan Hurley, Chief of Collaboration, Communications, and Marketing for Goodwill of Greater Washington. “The revenue generated from this campaign will continue to make a measurable and positive impact on our community.”
Since 2012 the Davelle Trade-In/Trade-Up Sale has generated over $135,000 in support of Goodwill’s mission. That equates to almost 6,000 hours of free job training services for people with disabilities and disadvantages here in the greater Washington, DC region.
Davelle Clothiers is located at 11921 Freedom Drive #100, Reston, VA in the Reston Town Center. For more information, www.davelleclothiers.com.
